Preparing Artwork for Printed Wrap Panels
Printed wrap panels need measured production specifications before artwork is released. A vehicle photograph or screen preview alone does not establish panel dimensions, seam placement, or fit.
Start with the installer’s measurements
Record each panel’s width and height, quantity, orientation, and intended location. Ask the installer to specify bleed and overlap. Label left and right sides explicitly; they may require different artwork.
Supply usable artwork
Keep a copy of the original design file. Identify the scale used in the file and provide any linked images or font outlines required by production. A small screenshot of a logo may not contain enough detail for a large panel. The configurator’s pixel-density check is a warning aid, not a print-quality certification.
Review the proof
Check spelling, contact details, panel labels, orientation, dimensions, seams, and sponsor placement. Confirm the selected material and lamination. Screen colors are an approximation; discuss color matching requirements before approval.
Approve the current version
If the artwork changes, review the new proof. An earlier approval should not release a later revision. Wrap printing is supplied without installation, so arrange installation separately and coordinate delivery with your installer.
