1. Inspect the surface and conditions
Avoid loose paint, rust, oxidation, wax, silicone, ceramic coatings, texture, or failing clear coat. Work clean, dry, and within the material’s recommended temperature.
General installation guidance
Install pre-spaced vinyl lettering on a smooth surface.
Large graphics, wraps, texture, compound curves, rivets, oxidized paint, and cold-weather work may require a professional installer.
2. Clean thoroughly
Wash away dirt, finish with a residue-free surface-safe cleaner, use lint-free towels, and allow full drying.
3. Measure and position
Keep the backing on. Align with removable tape and confirm level, spacing, hardware, seams, body lines, and required placement.
4. Create a tape hinge
Apply a firm masking-tape hinge along one edge or through the center to preserve alignment.
5. Remove the liner carefully
Peel slowly and make sure every vinyl character remains attached to the application tape.

Use firm overlapping strokes from the hinge toward the open edge while keeping unapplied vinyl off the surface.
7. Remove application tape
Burnish again, then peel tape slowly back across itself at a low angle. Stop and reburnish if vinyl lifts.
8. Inspect and allow bonding
Press edges and corners firmly. Follow supplied care guidance before washing or severe exposure.
Stop if installation does not behave as expected.
