WHAT TO CHECK.
BEFORE YOU ORDER.

Start with the researched considerations for your project. National rules remain national; your registration jurisdiction may differ from your shipping destination.

01 / TEXAS

Build a TX-number proof with room for the decal

Texas Parks and Wildlife specifies contrasting block characters at least three inches high on each side of the forward half of the vessel. The validation decal goes in line with the TX number, three inches toward the rear of the boat. That makes the left and right layouts different on the proof: show the bow direction and the reserved decal space on each side. Copy the assigned registration from your current record instead of using a sample number.

02 / TEXAS

Check documented-vessel status before ordering lettering

TPWD gives a separate display instruction for USCG-documented vessels: validation decals may be displayed without a TX registration number, while current documentation must be maintained. Confirm which instruction applies to your vessel before ordering a pair of TX numbers. Custom vinyl lettering is not an official validation decal. Use the state process for that decal and check the authority’s full guidance for your vessel category.

Package fleet graphics by unit and receiving address

If your order serves more than one Texas location, make a destination manifest before requesting a price. Pair each vehicle identifier with the receiving address, contact and quantity. Specify whether a door set means two matching pieces or different left and right layouts. A single company logo file is not enough to release every vehicle: check the current phone number, carrier identifiers and panel measurements for each unit. Keep replacement pieces attached to the original approved design revision rather than recreating them from a photograph.

Approve the installer’s panel plan for printed wraps

For print-only wrap work, ask the installer to supply measured panels, overlap, bleed and orientation. Label trailer doors and movable panels explicitly so artwork does not unexpectedly cross a seam. Include any material specification in the inquiry and confirm the offered construction before production. Printed wrap shipments do not include installation. Race graphics can be prepared separately using your current series rules and authorized sponsor artwork; a vehicle type or racing series name does not establish the required number size.

Request destination-specific shipping details

Send the Texas ZIP code for each package, the date artwork can be approved and the requested arrival date. Ask for production timing and carrier transit as separate estimates. Freight, materials and any artwork preparation need confirmation in the quote. A saved configuration records your specifications; it does not reserve production capacity or guarantee delivery. This hub covers shipped graphics, not a Texas storefront or local installation service.
